We arrived safely on the 18th as planned and were imediately slapped in the face with the hot, humid Darwin air. We quickly had to strip off a few layers though before moving on to Tumbling Waters Holiday Park. The Park we are staying at is lovely, lots of tall palms provide lots of shade from the sun. Lachie especially likes the "Croc Enclosure" that they have at the park.
We have negotiated our way around Darwin City and taken in most of the sites on foot on the first day. We walked for approximately 3.5hrs, our legs were weary by the end, but we did see a lot in that time frame. Firstly we walked along the beach and then headed towards Darwin Waterfront. Whilst on the way to the waterfront we stopped and looked at the World War 2 Oil Storage Tanks.
Jodie and Tim arrived on our doorstep at 8.00pm that evening and it was nice to see them.
Glad to hear all is going well so far.

Keeping up with updating the blogs is proving difficult as we are so busy and then have limited phone and internet access at times.Trying our best though.
